A Guide to What I'm Talking About
Sep. 10th, 2026 07:09 pmSince many of entries will be public, there will be a lot of times that you'll wonder what the hell I'm talking about. So I thought I'd sticky a handy-dandy little guide of what the hell I'm talking about.
Hubby - My husband of 23 years. He's a teddy bear of a man, with an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. And he puts up with me.
Daughter the Elder (DtE) - My eldest child. She is almost 21, transfem and very much my mini-me. Like her father, she's got a wonderful sense of humor. She's also got her own mind on what she believes so all I can think is that I've raised her right.

Boy the Younger (BtY) - My youngest child. He'll be 18 soon and is in his senior year of high school. He is on the Autism Wheel (primarily social) which makes things a little.... interesting. He is still growing into the person he's meant to be, and I love seeing how he grows.
Partner J - My long distance partner. We've been together in some fashion (including a couple years where we deescalated to only friendship) for three years. He lives in PA, while I live in TN. I chat with him daily, have a monthly call with him and try to get up to see him and my metas twice a year.
Meta G - Partner J's wife, as well as my husband's partner. She's the steady head among all of us and one of my best friends.
Meta C - Partner J's life partner. She was the first to welcome me when I started dating Partner J. And she regularly says that I'm J with boobs. (Yeah, we've got a lot in common.)
Pearl - My white Kia Niro. I bought her after my dad passed. She's the perfect car for me - much smaller than the various minivans I drove while my kids were younger, a hybrid, and is my canvas for all my various political and geek stickers.
I'm sure there will be more updates as I think of them.
